San Jose, California -- Networking company Calient Networks has secured $5 million in its third round of institutional venture capital financing.
Calient provides what it calls "intelligent, photonic switching systems and software that help service providers scale their networks..."
Telesoft Partners led the round, which also included other undisclosed investors.the company said that the venture capital funds would be used to continue its expansion into the global tier 1 service provider market.
