Woburn, Massachusetts -- Educational virtual world creator 8D World has received $5.25 million in its second institutional venture capital funding round.
8D World has created Wiz World Online, what it calls the world's first virtual world dedicated to teaching English as a foreign language.
Investors in the round included Spark Capital, Mizuho Capital of Japan and others.
The company said it would use the financing to incorporate more educational content into the platform. |
