 San Mateo, California -- Digital media company Roblox has received $4 million in institutional venture capital investment.
Roblox says that it is developing kid-safe online gaming technologies that straddle "several rapidly-developing aspects of Internet entertainment: virtual worlds, casual gaming and user-constructed content."
Altos Ventures and First Round Capital made the investment, which the company said would allow it to accelerate its growth. |
