BOCA RATON, FL -- Agilisys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS) announced the close of its acquisition of Visual One Systems, a hospitality technology solutions provider.  Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition marks the continued re-positioning of Agilisys as an IT solutions provider to the hospitality, supermarket and retail chain industries.

Agilisys recently announced plans to sell its computer systems distribution business for $485 million in cash in order to fund the strategic change and pursue acquisitions as opportunities arise.
