EyeSpot Nets $3.7M in Series A Financing

Eyespot, a provider of online video-editing tools and applications, has announced the closing of its Series A funding round after receiving $3.7 million.

The investment was led by Gabriel Venture Partners, an early stage venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley.  Other investors included Express Ventures and executives from and DivX.

The company intends to use the funds to further develop its online and mobile products and to sell its offerings to major media companies.

Gabriel's partner Tim Chang will join the company's Board of Directors.
