DALLAS, TX --
Match.com, the online matchmaking service owned by Interactive Corp., announced today that it is launching a new VoIP service that allows members to talk on the telephone without sharing their personal contact information.
The company cited surveys that indicate a majority of users said they knew within 10 minutes of talking on the phone whether they had chemistry with a particular individual.
84% of matchTalk trial users said that the sound of someone's voice helped them determine if they wanted to meet the person.
