RESEARCH TRIANGLE
PARK, NC --
The North Carolina Biotechnology Center
has initiated a new grant program that is designed to support biomedical
research in the state.
The grants can range up to $75,000 and need to be matched by at least 10
percent of funds from other sources. Research projects may last up to 18
months.
The grant program is aimed at research scientists at universities or
non-profits and intended to help them generate initial data that will aid them
in attracting further funding.
