DENVER, CO --
Denver-based Altira Group is about to close on another $100 million dollars to invest, according to an article in the Denver Business Journal.
The group, which focuses on energy companies throughout the country, is one of a growing number of firms investing in the energy industry.
In the third quarter of 2006, investments in energy-related firms reached $576 million among 45 companies, representing a six-year high in dollar amount.
