iCardiac Technologies, Inc., announced
that it has closed its Series A round by getting an additional $2 million
investment. Total investment for the round was $4 million.
iCardiac was formed earlier this year to commercialize technologies licensed
from the University of Rochester that enable the identification of biomarkers
in drugs that would increase cardiac risks.
Investors Advantage Capital Partners
and Stonehenge Capital Company
led the round and invested in conjunction with New York's Certified Capital Companies
