SCHENECTADY, NY -- Continuing a recent trend by technology companies here, software developer Alarius Systems is moving its operations and 25 employees to downtown Schenectady, NY.The company cited the ongoing downtown development as well as a $25,000 relocation grant and $50,000 loan as reasons for the move. Also, having fast telecommunications options between wireless and fiber-optic wireline choices helped seal the deal.The city hopes to create a vital entertainment and technology center in the downtown area.
