CAMBRIDGE, MA -- Biogen Idec, Inc. is in final stages of plans to launch an in-house incubator at its corporate headquarters in Cambridge, MA, according to the Business Journal.
The company has been contacting various executives in the region to determine if there is interest. The incubator would provide facilities, expertise and capital to early-stage biopharma start-ups in hopes of improving the company's product pipeline.
Biogen Idec focuses on therapeutics in neurology, oncology and immunological areas. |
