TAMPA, FL -- Three Florida-based venture capitalists have announced the launch of a Southeast U.S.-focused venture capital fund, Sunrock Ventures.
Tate Garrett, Matthew Shaw and Jeffrey Wolf are still raising a fund of $100 million that will be industry agnostic. The partners intend to invest in business and financial services, life sciences, information technologies, healthcare and other industries.
The partnership will likely take leading positions in 18 - 24 companies in the next four five years of the expected ten year lifespan of the fund.
