MI – Bomgar Corporation (Formerly
NetworkStreaming) announced the closing of its series B round of funding,
receiving $5 million in new investment.
The company offers an appliance solution to the remote control
support market. It allows support reps
to access any PC or Mac computer anywhere in the world through a secure web
interface and connects through firewalls.
Investors in the round included
Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company and GulfSouth Capital, both of
which invested in the first round. The
company intends to use the proceeds to expand its sales and marketing efforts
and to further develop and enhance its product line.
