SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- The Web 2.0 Expo started yesterday and features numerous companies interesting in showcasing their technologies for partners and potential investors. It runs through Tuesday, April 17.
The Expo is put on by O'Reilly Media, Inc. and CMP Technology and is an annual program for emerging and established companies, which this year included WebEx and Tellme as well as Humanix, Spock, Swivel and Vidoop.
The event has three main components, and educational conference, a tradeshow showcasing sellers of Web 2.0 tools and networking events targeted at venture capitalists and companies searching for funding.
