HARRISBURG, PA -- The state of Pennsylvania is attracting more venture capital investment in a matching state funds program.
Governor Ed Rendell announced that the state will leverage $20 million in loan funds to attract an additional $60 million in venture capital funding from several firms.
The firms include Birchmere Ventures, SB3 Capital, Erie Management Group, Originate Ventures, Blue Hill Investment Parters and the SVM-Pennsylvania Development Fund. They will invest the funds in general technology and life science ventures across all development stages.
