COLUMBUS, OH -- The Ohio Capital Fund, which is managed by Buckeye Venture Partners, announced funding commitments to five venture capital firms.
The $150 million Fund was established by the state of Ohio via legislative mandate. It's purpose is to act as a catalyst for seed and early stage investing across the state.
The venture capital firms receiving commitments were Bridge Investment Fund, SunBridge Partners, Chrysalis Ventures, River Cities Capital Funds and SV Life Sciences. Four have offices in the state of Ohio.
