NeuroVista Nets $33.8 Million Second Round Funding

SEATTLE, WA -- Medical device developer NeuroVista announced a $33.8 million second round of venture capital financing.

The company is developing a medical device that helps to manage and treat epilepsy, an all too common condition.  It also announced a name change from its previous name of BioNeuronics Corp.

Investors in the round included Silicon Valley-based Advanced Technology Ventures and Delphi Venture.  The company plans to use the funding proceeds to continue its product development and clinical research activities.
