SAN MATEO, CA & WALTHAM, MA -- Software makers Astoria Software and Idiom Technologies announced a joint integration and marketing agreement.

The two companies will use Web 2.0 technologies to combine Astoria's structured content management software with Idiom's globalization management system for manufacturers.

Astoria brings an on-demand strategy for Idiom's offline software products at a time when competition is pushing manufacturers to release more products more quickly. The resulting combination is aimed at helping manufacturers in their product cycle reduction goals.
