Monday, May 5, 2008 5:42:00 AM PDT | VentureDeal Staff

ATLANTA, GA -- Financial services company FTRANS Corp. said that it has raised $7.5 million in new venture capital funding.

FTRANS says that its mission is "to move seller-funded trade credit to financial institutions - just as bank credit cards moved consumer credit to financial institutions."

Greenhill SAVP was the lead investor.  Total Technology Ventures and New Atlantic Ventures also invested in the round.  The company said it would use the proceeds to continue its launch with other banking partners.
