Israel -- Internet animation network company aniBoom announced that it has closed its series B round of venture capital financing, receiving $10 million from a syndicate of venture capital firms.
AniBoom has created an online animation network that enables users to create and upload original animations and cartoons on its web, mobile, TV and gaming platforms.
Draper Fisher Jurvetson led the round, which included Tamir Fishman Ventures and Evergreen Partners. The company said it would use new funding proceeds to fund short form premium content for the Web and mobile platforms and to develop original animation features for television.
