Zogenix Announces Success With DosePro

San Diego, California --  Specialty pharmaceutical company Zogenix announced that it will present successful results from clinical studies of its product for the treatment of acute migraine and cluster headaches.

The product, DosePro, is a novel technology that allows patients to receive sumatriptan via the skin into a subcutaneous space without a needle.

The studies showed that maximum concentrations of the drug and delivery technology were reached within 12 minutes and that 98% of the patients were able to correctly use the new delivery technology on their first try, even in the midst of an acute migraine headache attack.
