Zafgen Garners Series B Venture Capital Funding

Zafgen
has landed $8.1 million for its second round of venture capital financing.
Zafgen says that it is developing innovative therapeutics for the treatment of obesity.
Investors in the round included Third Rock Ventures and Atlas Venture. Proceeds purposes from the financing round were not disclosed by the company.
