Cincinnati, Ohio  --  Daily deals site DealChicken.com announced plans to launch its service on Tuesday, July 12 in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

Owned by The Enquirer, the site aims to take advantage of the publisher's strong local connections in the two markets to help merchants and consumers build long-term relationships rather than one-time transactions.

The service was launched in September 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona. The Enquirer is a subsidiary of the Gannett Company (NYSE: GCI).
