Sprint Launches In-Vehicle Communication Platform

   Los Angeles, California  --  Sprint (NYE: S) has announced the launch of its new flexible in-vehicle communications platform for the automobile industry.

Called Sprint Velocity, the system enables automakers to incorporate music, news, sports, weather, security, navigation and other technologies featured in their cars.

The company said that automakers can use it as a complete turnkey solution or on a modular basis for their own customized needs.
