D-Wave Garners $23 Million VC Funding

Burnaby, Canada  --  Computing technology company D-Wave Systems has landed $22.8 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC filing.

D-Wave sells high-performance quantum computing systems for a variety of industry verticals.

The company did not say how the funding proceeds would be used.

D-Wave is still seeking $12.2 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
