Bitstrips Nets Series B Venture Capital

   Toronto, Canada  --  Digital media technology company Bitstrips has raised $8 million in its second round of institutional venture capital investment.

Bitstrips enables users to create humorous or emotive digital media products to share with their friends and acquaintances.

Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Horizons Ventures made the investment.

The company did not say how the funding proceeds would be used.
