Adobe Commits $300 Million to ConnectED Initiative

   San Jose, California  --  Adobe (Nasdaq: ADBE) has announced its commitment of over $300 million to the federal administration's education and teacher training initiative.

Called ConnectED, the initiative aims to collect private sector donations of over $1 billion to assist in modernizing K-12 digital literacy and creativity curricula.

Adobe said that it's 2013 study concluded that parents and educators identified three key requirements needed to promote and foster creativity and education: provide tools and training, make creativity integral in education and reduce mandates that hinder creativity.
