AirXpanders Lands Venture Capital Debt

   Palo Alto, California  --  Medical device company AirXpanders has secured $7 million in venture capital debt funding.

AirXpanders is developing a patient controlled breast tissue expander used in reconstructive surgery.

GE Healthcare Financial Services provided the credit facility.

The company said it would use the proceeds to fund the completion of the US clinical trial for its flagship product.
