Rockwell Collins Launches Networked Communications

   Huntsville, Alabama  --  Defense technology company Rockwell Collins has announced the launch of a new network communications solution for the US Armed Forces and militaries around the world.

Called TruNet, the system is a one stop, integrated ground-air network that takes advantage of numerous waveforms and components.

The three main components of the system are the Rockwell Collins Airborne Radio and Ground Radio Series as well as advanced handheld technology.

The Airborne Radio component is a software defined system which provides multiple waveforms, both narrow and wide band and high-speed, mobile network communications along with point-to-point data and the latest SATCOM features.

Rockwell Collins sells communication and aviation electronic systems for commercial and government applications to more than 150 countries.
