Llamasoft Secures $50 Million Growth Capital

   Ann Arbor, Michigan  -- Supply chain software company Llamasoft has landed $50 million in its Series B round of venture capital financing.

Llamasoft has developed software that "helps large organizations design and improve their supply chain network operations."

The software enables companies to model, analyze and optimize their supply chains by doing what-if scenarios to increase efficiencies.

The round was funded by affiliates of Goldman Sachs.

The company said it would use the capital to accelerate its product development and partner development efforts.
