Memphis, Tennessee -- Transportation technology company Cabsolutely has raised $500,000 in equity venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
Cabsolutely has developed a mobile app that enables users to "hail the closest possible - from any cab company - with one tap." Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds. A total of seven investors participated in the offering. Cabsolutely was co-founded in April 2014 by CEO Virag Reti.
