Continuuity Grabs Series A Venture Capital Investment

   Palo Alto, California  --  IT company Continuuity has secured $10 million in its first round of institutional venture capital funding.

Continuuity has developed technologies that more easily enable software developers to create big data applications.

Battery Ventures and Ignition Partners led the round, which included previous investors Andreessen Horowitz, Data Collective and Amplify.

The company said it would use the financing to accelerate product development and sales and marketing initiatives.
