UnitedHealthcare Launches Global Competition

Las Vegas, Nevada  --  UnitedHealthcare has announced the launch of a new initiative to spur health system innovation.

Called the Breakthrough Health Tech Challenge, the competition will accept online submissions through April 8, with the winning submission eligible for a $60,000 prize.

The goal of the challenge is to receive ideas on how common consumer technologies or devices can help people address their chronic conditions such as heart disease, obesity and diabetes.
