Gen9 Grabs $21 Million Venture Capital Funding

   Cambridge, Massachusetts  --  Biotechnology company Gen9 has secured $21 million in new strategic venture capital financing.

Gen9 develop technologies that enable companies to utilize genes to program microorganisms.

Agilent Technologies made the investment.

The company said it would use the funding to invest in its product development and expand efforts for its synthetic biology business.
