iMapData Sees New Venture Capital Financing

   McLean, Virginia  --  Software developer iMapData has raised $1.5 million in venture capital equity investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

iMapData develops a range of software that helps organizations better run their risk management and business continuity operations.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

iMapData is still seeking $1 million in additional financing, according to the filing.

The company previously raised $15 million in July 2012 from Frontier Capital.
