CLEVELAND, OH -- A survey of Midwest venture capital firms released by BioEnterprise, an accelerator organization based in Cleveland, OH, indicated that the Midwest continues to grow in reputation as a source of quality healthcare start ups.
The survey, which divided out the healthcare industry into various sub-sectors such as medical devices, health care services and software and biopharmaceuticals, showed that investors rated medical device companies most highly when compared to other regions. Healthcare services and software companies were rated about average compared to other regions, with biopharmaceuticals rated weak.
