ReQuest Wins Patent For Digital Synchronization

BALLSTON SPA, NY -- Networking company ReQuest, Inc. announced the award by the US Patent and Trade Office of patent number 09/8884,661.

The company says the patent covers the synchronization of media including audio, video and digital photos from a central media server to other other servers and portable devices via wireless or wired communications.

The announcement also made clear that the patent filing predated Apple Computer's introduction of its popular iPod digital media device.
