InnovaLight Sees $28 Million New Funding

SANTA CLARA, CA -- Thin film solar company InnovaLight said that it has raised $28 million in new venture capital investment, from a syndicate of firms.

InnovaLight is developing ultra low-cost thin film solar power modules based on a proprietary silicon-ink process.

Investors in the round included Convexa Capital, ARCH Venture Partners, Apax Partners, Harris & Harris Group, Sevin Rosen Funds and Triton Ventures.  The company is also moving to a 30,000 sf facility concurrent with the financing.
