TPI Composites Receives Series A Financing

WARREN, RI -- Advanced materials maker TPI Composites, Inc. said that it has secured its first institutional round of financing, receiving $22 million from venture capital investors.

TPI develops and sells large-scale composite structures for the wind energy, transportation and military vehicle markets.  The company has factories throughout the U.S., Mexico and China.

Investors in the round included lead NGP Energy Technology Partners, Angeleno Group and Landmark Growth Capital Partners.  The company said it plans to use the proceeds to grow it's operations across all segments.
