Mintera Receives $19 Million In Third Funding Round

ACTON, MA -- Networking firm Mintera Corporation said that it has raised $19 million in series C funding and added a new strategic investor.

Mintera is developing 40 Gbps optical transport switches that deliver Internet traffic into the metro-core, regional long haul and ultra long haul optical networks.

JDS Uniphase was the new strategic investor, and the round included existing investors Polaris Venture Partners, RRE Ventures, Court Square Ventures and Portview Communications Partners.
