LedEngin Lights Up With $11 Million Series C

SANTA CLARA, CA -- LED company LedEngin, Inc. said that it has closed its series C venture capital round, raising $11 million in new investment.

LedEngin develops and manufactures high-power LED components and solid-state light engine modules for a variety of applications requiring SSL-based solutions.

Partech International led the round, which included previous investor WK Technology Fund and others.  The company said it will use the proceeds to expand its sales and marketing channels and continue development efforts on SSL-based technologies.
