Vollee To Launch Console Quality Mobile Game Service

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- Mobile networking company Vollee announced the upcoming launch of a new service that streams "console quality" video to mobile handsets.

Vollee 1.0's solution for publishers enables high-end games to work on mobile-phones by optimizing compression to minimize bandwidth requirements and also leverage 3G mobile networks in a proprietary way.

The service is in trials now with a number of international carriers and the company expects to formally launch its commercial availability in North America in early 2008.
