mFoundry Nets Series C Round Of $15 Million

SAUSALITO, CA -- Mobile software company mFoundry announced the closing of its third round of venture capital and strategic financing, receiving $15 million in new investment.

mFoundry provides mobile banking and payments solutions for financial institutions and wireless carriers.  The company has developed a cross-carrier, cross-platform application that supports a wide range of mobile devices.

Motorola Ventures led the round, which included NCR Corporation, Apax Partners, GRP Retail Partners and Ignition Partners.  The company will use the funding proceeds for sales and marketing expansion.
