Arteriocyte Nets New Financing Of $10 Million

CLEVELAND, OH -- Biotechnology company Arteriocyte, Inc. has received $10 million in a new financing round, according to a report by VentureWire.

The company is developing proprietary, adult stem cell-based therapies focused on the treatment of ischemic diseases, which include coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, vascular complications from diabetes and neurodegenerative conditions exacerbated by reduced blood flow.

DW Healthcare Partners and others invested in the round.  Proceeds purposes were not disclosed.
