eClinicalWorks Partners With UpToDate IT Resources

WALTHAM, MA -- eClinicalWorks and UpToDate have announced a partnership to provide physicians with access to UpToDate's electronic information resource.

eClinicalWorks sells an electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management application to physicians.  The integration allows physicians using the system to access UpToDate's database and receive answers to clinical questions quickly and easily - often before the patient leaves the office.

UpToDate says its system is used by more than 250,000 clinicians in over 130 countries.  eClinicalWorks claims a customer base of over 3,000 customers in all 50 states.
