INRIX Announces Third Funding Round Of $15 Million

KIRKLAND, WA -- Traffic information company INRIX, Inc. said that it has received a series C round of venture financing of $15 million from existing investors.

INRIX provides real-time predictive traffic services and information technology nationwide.  The company's services enable consumers and businesses to optimize their roadway travel route to avoid traffic slowdowns.

August Capital lead the round, which included Bain Capital Ventures and Venrock Associates.  The company says it will use the funds to continue development and begin its international expansion.
