Fuqua And Proton Partner On Virtual Worlds

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and Proton Media have announced an alliance to develop computer-based 3D virtual world technology appropriate for learning-based communications.

Nevin Fouts, Associate Dean of IT for the school, is driving his vision for a next-generation 3D interaction space that will allow globally-dispersed students to connect and interact inside 3D immersive environments for educational purposes.
