Inspired Technologies Closes New Financing Round

NORTH HUNTINGDON, PA -- Inspired Technologies, Inc. (FKA COPD Partners) announced the closing of its latest funding round, receiving an undisclosed sum from a syndicate of venture capital firms.

Inspired is developing an oxygen liquifaction system designed to treat patients who suffer from COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder).  The device is intended for home respiratory care environments.

Investors in the round included Birchmere Ventures, Cardinal Partners, Draper Triangle Ventures and Innovation Ventures.  The company will use the proceeds to launch its first product and accelerate its development pipeline.
