Ben Franklin To Invest $425K In Four Startups

HIGH VALLEY, PA -- The Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania has announced that it will invest $425,000 in four early stage technology companies based in Pennsylvania.

EcoTech and Total Takeout will receive investments of $150,000 each.  EcoTech will use the funds to complete development on a new pump line used in the aquarium and spa industries.  Total Takeout will put the finishing touches on its online-based meal-ordering service.

Cambrian Bio-Technologies received $75,000 to develop and commercialize various products from Ecklonia Maxima Kelp.  Spectrum Diving Equipment will use $50,000 to produce advanced diving and wreck recovery equipment for the diving industry.
