DisplayLink Clears $24 Million Third Financing Round

PALO ALTO, CA -- Semiconductor company DisplayLink Corp. said that it has closed its series C round of venture capital investment, receiving $24 million.

DisplayLink is a chip company that creates simple connections between computers and displays.  The company uses standard communications protocols, enhanced by its chipsets and software, to bring the benefits of expanded visual workspace to more people.

DAG Ventures lead the round, which included Atlas Venture, Balderton Capital and DFJ Esprit.  The company said it will use the funds to accelerate product development and sales and marketing expansion.
